EE703 - Modern Control Design
- Credit Hours:
- 3
- Prerequisites:
- EE 701.
- Description:
-
Use of modern (state-variable) control concepts and theories to
design high-performance controllers for multi- input/multi-output set-point
regulation and servo-tracking/pointing problems. Modeling of uncertain
disturbances; design of disturbance-accommodating controllers; introduction
to adaptive and stochastic control. Use of commercial CAD software for
modern control design and performance evaluation. CAD laboratory sessions.
